During March 2022, Blizzard posted surveys asking if players would like to experience Wrath of the Lich King Classic on top of the Burning Crusade Classic expansion which is entering the final phase 5/5.
It is most likely that WoW WotLK Classic will be released by the end of the year. As with the Vanilla Classic, TBC, Wrath of the Lich King is severely dependent on gold currency in order to make smooth and steady progress in game.
